Our Role
For 28 years, our family has lovingly cared for this land—nurturing it as a sanctuary for its unique wildlife and native vegetation. We have dedicated ourselves to preserving the natural beauty and integrity of this space, ensuring that every visitor experiences an unspoiled retreat. Our commitment is rooted in a genuine love for nature and the belief that thoughtful stewardship today will help maintain this special place for generations to come.
But we are not the traditional owners of this land. We honor and acknowledge the deep, enduring connection that Indigenous peoples have with these surroundings. Their wisdom and heritage have shaped this landscape long before we arrived, and we remain committed to upholding that legacy of respect and care. As caretakers, we strive to protect and celebrate the cultural and environmental heritage of Kangaroo Island in every action we take.
